GEODIS was looking for a tool that could visualize BIG data, determine variations in process, find opportunities for improvement, and highlight drivers of long cycle times. Celonis was identified as the best software based on ability to identify and categorize process variation, so that the client has ability to increase process adherence and quality. Celonis shows a lot of potential right out of the gate. Initially specific use cases were selected based on identified value. The value was realized very quickly, with some use cases beginning to deliver value in just a few months. The focus being operational efficiency, nearly all improvements being identified and pursued in process mining are seeking to improve the bottom line by reducing cost. Client has also paired process mining with on-site process assessment, and one of those yielded 59 opportunities for improvement of varying degrees of effort and impact.
